Tastes

Peat smoke and oak on the nose, but not overwhelming on first sip. Malt and dark chocolate, with a slight spice on the back end. An excellent dram.

Woody caramel notes on the nose at first, leading to light spice and tobacco. The first sip is deep and floral, with more sweet caramel and a smooth finish.

That titular ‘malt’ comes thru on the nose, along with spice and floral notes. First sip brings a sweet but almost musty flavor, that settles into cinnamon, grass, and the sherry cask seasoning.

A dry and slightly herbal nose with hints of the port barrel aging, first taste brings red fruit, maybe maraschino cherries, cinnamon, and a finish with dark chocolate
