Teremana Tequila is a tequila brand founded by Dwayne Johnson, otherwise known as The Rock. The tequila is made from ripe agaves harvested from the Highlands of Jalisco and are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 3 days. After shredding, the agaves are fermented in an open tank and then distilled in copper pot stills.
Teremana Reposado Tequila matures in former bourbon barrels and is bottled at 80 proof.The name means "spirit of the earth"--TERE from the Latin word for "earth" and MANA from the Polynesian word for "spirit." .

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

Tasting Notes
"The nose offers toffee atop an herbal and hay underpinning, as well as clover honey, jasmine, and salted caramel. The palate showcases lemon pith and grapefruit zest, along with dark chocolate, and grassiness. The finish is short, with butterscotch, tannic oak, and roasted agave. While not bad, it's a bit thin and astringent, lacking oomph."
