Tastes

A really interesting and delicious bourbon. The aftertaste is the perhaps the worst part.

Tough to describe. Smoky and oaky. Overall a pleasant taste.

A low key whiskey without a lot of bite. Sweet on the nose and tongue. Doesn’t seem particularly complex. Certainly not robust (less proof). Not a bad sipping whiskey with sweet notes of mint and vanilla.

A pleasant yeasty baking smell. Kick in the mouth spice with little flavor. A nice warm finish, but the aftertaste is subpar. Overall lacking in flavor. Not a lot to say about flavor.

A pretty mellow bourbon with a great smell and wonderful finish. I’m not particularly impressed with the flavor and find the mouth somewhat dry. But, on the other hand, the front is sweet with a bold cinnamon spice follow. I suspect more complexity underneath.

Really sweet and creamy. Good with coffee.
