    lighter version of the 10. very enjoyable in it's own right. sometimes I want to kiss the mermaid and not be punched in the face.

    This taught me that there actually is a thing as too much peat. great for adding a bit to other scotches though!

    With lagavulin and laphroaig being my favorites & hearing all the "light" comments regarding this scotch, I was concerned it would be too friendly or watery. It definitely isn't. Rich and sufficiently intense peat. I really like this scotch - it is right up there will the best islays.
