Ardmore 8 (Cadenhead Original Collection)
Single Malt — Highland, Scotland
Reviewed December 11, 2021 (edited July 25, 2024)Sherry casks seems to be more prominent than bourbon. Fruity and a little coastal nose. Peat doesn't really show up until the finish. Not spectacular, but has more going on than the typical sub-$100 bottle.95.0 USD per Bottle -
Glen Elgin 2006 14 Year Cask #9800012 (ImpEx Collection)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed November 24, 2021Big green apple nose, maybe a hint of nougat back there. Green apple is still dominant in the palate, with a slightly herbal finish. Pretty solid for the price.120.0 USD per Bottle -
Port Charlotte MRC:01 2010
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 19, 2021 (edited June 9, 2022)Most disappointing bruichladdich I've had. I've been a bit of a fan boy in the past, but I just don't enjoy this. Longrow Red and Kilchoman Am Burach are far superior offerings in the same space. -
