Tastes

Without being sweet, nose of caramel and nougat. Plate is more rye spice and vegetables. Long grassy finish reminiscent of some tequila.

Sweet nose of overripe apples and vanilla. Palate similar to nose with added spices. Good finish in line with palate with a little oak tanin. Nice oily mouth feel, surprising for a lower proof whisky. The kind of wisk(e)y I classify as delicious comfort drinks.
