Wood is obvious and very dominant, needs time in the glass to open up. Hoping that some air in the bottle will bring this process forward to. There are aspects in the flavour reminiscent of Bushmills 12 Year Old (1608 Special Reserve 1990's bottling), also Aberlour Abundah, and the underlying spirit seems to have the marzipan edge that Glenmorangie 10 presents.
