Honestly, its just OK. Not really a fan of the lingering aftertaste and I also don't get as much "wood" as I would expect from a double wood? This is a decent speyside but I always look for something with a bit more character than your standard Speyside. I was hoping this one would provide just that... I still have a strong opinion that any scotch brand you can find in any liquor store, in 5-10 different types, wont make good Scotch. A true shame... If you are looking for wood, look at your American Bourbons or Ryes...50.0 USD per Bottle

Jefferson's Very Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 18, 2020 (edited November 28, 2020)For the price, I honestly don't think you can get better for a small batch bourbon. This is solid. Tasting notes are sweet, a little peppery (surprisingly?) and color is light. The taste also doesn't linger and goes down very smooth. A good solid cheap sipping bourbon. Dare I say, better than Buffalo trace in the cheaper bourbon category?35.0 USD per Bottle -
