First smell my nose is overwhelmed by the scent of strawberries. Will I even be drinking whiskey? The taste of strawberries hits my tongue, but it’s not as sweet as I would have imagined. There isn’t a kick. It’s gentle. The taste doesn’t seem to want to linger for long. As I drink more the taste of the strawberries are more pronounced and the taste is sweeter. This is a very pleasant bourbon. Still not as good as angels, but not bad considering the price comparison.

Sweet! I know I’m a little weird when it comes to rye, but I feel this is so sweet. I feel like I am drinking syrup. Candied syrup

First sip gave me tingles all over my body! I tasted sweet notes I had never tasted before in a whisky. It feels thick in my mouth. It’s quite enjoyable really. Besides the price, the only thing that is not enjoyable is the nose. It just leaves something to be desired. It really missing the same notes as the palette.
