Currently tasting the 2021 version. 61.08 abv Like everything else in 2021, not too impressive. Nose is chalky and wood. Reminds me of febreeze a little. Taste is wood with some floral notes. Slight burn. Finish is fine, but really not something I enjoy too much. I’m not too big a fan of this particular woodsy finish. Might be great for others though. Not worth the price IMO.

I know I paid way to much for a glass of this, but I also know it was the only chance I’d have to taste it. So here is what I’ve learned. Nose: chocolate and vanilla. Palate: Chocolate. Buttery smooth chocolate. I wish this was a higher proof, but I’m not complaining. Finish: long finish with a little burn. Reminds me of nestle quik

Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Brandy Cask Finish
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Tasted August 19, 2020Tasting the 123.6 proof. The nose on this is so pretty. Caramel, candy, cherry. This does not drink like a 123.6 proof bourbon. Very dangerous. Very smooth. Add some water and the sweetness does not end. Too expensive for me though.
