Honey and vanilla on the nose with a bit of spice. Definite alcohol on the nose and the palate. I got a hint of sweet honey at the beginning then strong alcohol. Not my favorite Glenlivet overall.
Oak on the nose along with something sweet, possibly a bit of a honey note along with a bit of a band aid aroma. A lot of oak with a looonnnggg warm oaky finish. I don’t get anywhere near the smoke and peat that I do from the 10 year.
Smoky on the nose, with a bit of a medicinal aroma, and just a little bit of oil. Oily, smoky, peaty, nice warming throughout with a long smoky finish.
