Reviewed July 6, 2020 (edited August 14, 2020)I have tried both this one and Viking pride, dont understand where is the hype and this is rated 99 ,but 30yo is rated 97. Placebo effect ? To me solid 4.85.0 EUR per BottleSystembolaget -
Funny, but the nose just reminded me when I was a kid I was picking colorado beetles from the potatoes leaves. Nose:nice light sweet peat smoke. Light ash, bonfire, honey, little grass, rubber. Palate: could be better. Like young ,alcoholic touch, but sweet peat with peppery ,tobacco finish. Looks unchillfiltered.

About 1 year ago I dont remember where I bought FG collection 3x35cl.(18yo,10yo,Original) at auction probably. I shared 18yo with my friend and we didnt notice it was already empty 35cl. Very smooth, silky with all sherry notes. It is sweet but not very. Mouthwatering, finish is warm ,a bit dry ,a bit black tea. Coudnt find any smoke as it has Highland Park.

Even dont know how to start. I understand it is young malt still not a single malt, but ok..... If it is distilled from sheep dung, not bad at all, I can give 4 stars. If it is distilled from grain malt ,bad ,I can give barely 1 star. It was undrinkable to me, but no offend to Eimverk distillery looking forward to try single malts and other.
