Tastes

Not as much going on as I would have hoped. Light and sweet up front before brandy finishing lingers on the short finish. Worth a try, but not worth the cost of a full bottle.

Fruit notes fill the nose with just a hint of the rye spice to come. Palate follows same path with red fruits up front before the rye spice comes on and lingers with an enjoyable finish. Great for a winter night.

Sherry notes are prevalent on the nose along with red fruits. Super smooth on the palate with more fruit notes to pair with standard caramel Bourbon flavors. Hardly any burn at all. Sherry influence is obvious throughout, with just a touch of smoke lingering on the finish that reminds me a bit of scotch. Delicious bourbon.

Solid pour, sad to see this one going away.

A solid wheated Bourbon. Well balanced and a great price to sip or mix in a cocktail.

Solid proof with a nice classic nose, I get a lot of alcohol and vanilla. The taste left a little to be desired for me, with a smoky flavor that was likely clove but hinted at a peaty scotch. Interesting. Not my favorite, but I can see why others are fans.

Really well balanced bourbon with citrus notes that mix smoothly with pepper and just a bit of spice. Solid bourbon at a good price.
