Sweet, but not as sweet as other liqueurs. The strong vanilla makes this great to enjoy by itself or in a cocktail. I don't think I would ever substitute Licor 43 for Galliano... but for a sweet vanilla liqueur, this is great. Good price too.

Interesting strong agave notes. They talk about aging in French oak, but being a plata you wouldn’t expect much mellowing. I still find a bit of burn on the back end, but fine for sipping
