Tastes

Nose: initially honey, followed by floral and citrus. Palate: mainly lemon with some oak notes, but it's not all that pronounce. Light body.

Heavenly peat all the way through this classic. Nose: rounded smoky notes with some liquorice after-notes. Palate: a beautiful salty peat that spreads throughout the mouth. After-taste of herbs and some liquorice. Body: a very delicate smooth body that let's the peaty warmth spread around the mouth. A drop of water will lessen the pronounce precense of the peaty smoke in both the nose and Palate, making it more herbal in primary nature.

Much like the 12 year old bottle, but with a more rounded body that has less peaty warmth to it.

Nose: very subtle, hints of smoke and vanilla. Palate: earthen citrus notes with a slight fruity finish. Body: good structure that fills the entire mouth with mild peaty warmth. Adding a drop of water makes the nose more sweet like vanilla frosting, while the palate becomes more fruity.

A mild sweet nose and a good fruity body. A decent introduction whiskey that isn't anything fancy but also isn't anything bold. Doesn't change significantly with a drop of water.
