Old Carter 12 Year American Whiskey Batch 2 (2019 Release)
Blended American Whiskey — USA
Reviewed June 20, 2020 (edited December 20, 2020)I get cherry and lemon on the nose. Taste is more cherry with wood and spice, medium long finish with more oak. A great pour. Expensive, yes, worth it? I put it with my favorite bottles so yes for me. -
Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed April 9, 2020 (edited January 20, 2022)Nose was fruity and typical malt. Palate was bitter and a little astringent, orange peel is the best I can compare to. Finish was short and woody, a little smoke. I added ice and liked it a little more. -
Nose is typical bourbon, caramel and wood. The palate was a strange flavor difficult to categorize, not good for me, sour fruit and bitter. The finish is medium, wood and spice. This is a 6 year wheated and I also tried the 2 yr that had rye in the mash and preferred that to this one. HT is a cool place, worth a visit and to try a flight of their offerings.

Cream of Kentucky 12.3 Years Old
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed February 9, 2020 (edited December 15, 2020)Bananas and vanilla on the nose with more of the same and oak on the palate. The finish is long and a tingle and burn finishes with toffee and hard candy. The value is subjective, very expensive even retail. Still good enough for me to buy again.154.0 USD per BottleCharley Creek Inn Wine and Cheese Shoppe -

Rebel Yell 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 17, 2019 (edited October 28, 2020)This was an interesting pour. The nose was initially off-putting almost like glue or plastic with alcohol but after letting sit for a while that seemed to fade. The palate is wood and caramel and better than I expected based on the nose. The finish was really great with more oak and spice then a distinct cherry note that was very nice. Will definitely try and find more.70.0 USD per BottleThe Party Source
