Tastes

Cherry pie filling. Spice. Sweet. Syrupy caramel. Vanilla.

Less full on than some of the other bourbons I've tried recently. Mellow and we'll rounded. Tracked down the bottle in Feb 2016 at Cedar Hill.

Classic middle of the road with honey and floral it leading fruit and malt. Tried at Fairmont Empress Victoria, Bengal Lounge, Feb 2016.

Not specifically memorable. A decent product in the CC lineup. Seems more like the marketing department came up with the product than the distiller team.

Amazingly pairs better with Mountain Dew than with coke.

An excellent product. The price feels like it should taste cheaper then it does. Rather dark in color an full in taste. No overwhelming spiciness like what is found in rye heavy bourbons. The smoothness and creaminess of the wheat is quite a treat.

The first nose and sip immediately took me to charred barrel territory. Because it's a single barrel, every batch is slightly different from the last. That noted, the bottle I got is an intense sweet oak vanillin, mildly spicy, early fire, smooth finish bourbon.
