Medium juniper, airy citrus second in rank, I also thought I made out a certain earthiness and it comes across as a little muted overall. Well palatable and easy but not quite lively and exciting enough to pass as a summery gin. I try to avoid comparisons to other gins but in this case it's too fitting because it's the same brand, and the standard Citadelle is to the Jardin d'Été what looking at a summer garden through a window is to actually sitting in a summer garden.

Extremely sweet even when mixed, strong peach flavor with subtle notes of strawberry and orange, can't make out any juniper, practically tastes like a peach schnapps or peach liqueur.

Very enjoyable, tingly, lightly floral profile with distinct notes of woodruff neat, tonic brings out a hint of citrus but makes it watery and practically drowns out the other flavors. Edit: Downgraded from 4.5 to 4.0 following another sampling with more experience.

A betrayal like few others. Beautiful composition of lemony sweetness, light florals and a certain minty freshness on the nose, would've been one of the best gins in the world if it tasted likewise, but it becomes singularly and strongly perfumy in flavor even when mixed.

Underwhelming at its usual price point. Was expecting a little bit more complexity, only ended up finding the lightest juniper and citrus that are both easy to drown in any sort of mixed drink.

Gentle overall, forward in multi-layered fruity citrus notes if anything, surrounded by hints of juniper, florals, mild pepper. Divine balance of summery flavors at a practically unbeatable value.
