George Dickel No. 8
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed March 16, 2021 (edited July 17, 2021)I'm surprised this is not rated higher. I got a bottle of this from a friend and it punches well above its $20 price tag. This is a smooth well rounded solid value. -
Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 16, 2021 (edited March 26, 2021)I'm not so much of woodford original label fan, but this is good bourbon for the cost. I really like the oak/vanilla notes with an overall smoothness and full body. I think of this as a treat and enjoy a glass from time to time not a regular drink. Worth having a bottle on the shelf when you want some flavor. -

Trail's End Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished with Oregon Oak
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed March 13, 2021 (edited January 20, 2022)This is a good bourbon for the money if you like smooth oak and vanilla highlights. Not as rich as the woodford double oak. But certainly a solid bourbon.35.0 USD per Bottle
