Quite sweet on the nose with caramel and some baking spice. Not much smoke. Palate is very friendly sweetness with decent barrel character. The finish is surprisingly lengthy and pleasant. It is not very complex but certainly worth $30

Tried it once at a friend’s house and instantly liked how easy drinking it was. Got a bottle on sale. First impression of removing the cork is the strong whiff of malty freshness almost like the freshness of a cold beer. Some may say it’s lacking sophistication, but some could also say it’s good for a nice sunny day chilling in the back yard. Classic scotch characters with medium finish. Not a bad dram for the price.

Rich fruit and hint of smoke. With characters resembling highland scotch it is certainly an interesting and tasty dram.

It is a very interesting dram as the typical Speyside prettiness, sweetness, and fruitiness is all there yet it is from the islands. There is brininess playing the underdog and some spice for kick. Overall a decent dram that will boggle your mind a little if you like to play blind tasting.

Very fine whiskey! Very smooth, not spicy at all. Reminds me of apple pie with caramel and ice cream on top. Super easy drinking whiskey. Not complex at all. This is not for someone who wants adventure. I’d say a nice cozy afternoon having some desert.

Very interesting nose! Juicy fruit is the first thing came to mind. Memorable dram indeed.
