Tried it once at a friend’s house and instantly liked how easy drinking it was. Got a bottle on sale. First impression of removing the cork is the strong whiff of malty freshness almost like the freshness of a cold beer. Some may say it’s lacking sophistication, but some could also say it’s good for a nice sunny day chilling in the back yard. Classic scotch characters with medium finish. Not a bad dram for the price.

Glenfiddich 18 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 25, 2020 (edited September 23, 2020)Very fine whiskey! Very smooth, not spicy at all. Reminds me of apple pie with caramel and ice cream on top. Super easy drinking whiskey. Not complex at all. This is not for someone who wants adventure. I’d say a nice cozy afternoon having some desert.
