Woodford Reserve Kentucky Derby 146
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 2, 2020 (edited March 17, 2021)Nose is fantastic. Sweet caramel, rich creaminess, fruity, and zesty. Really good dram. -
When I tasted it the first time I wasn’t overly impressed with it as it resembles very light Islay scotch. Today I had some spicy smoked meat prior to trying it again and it elevated the drinking experience drastically. Honeysuckle, caramel, smoky maple syrup... just rich and pleasant. Highly recommended with spicy smoked food.
