Really neutral with a spice on the end but for 20 bucks when you can find it worth the buy.

Got this for a friend as he is a big rye guy. Found it to be good not too complex but rather alcohol forward and some spice it is rather inexpensive and completes with some of the bigger brands like crown rye but with more of that single barreled smaller distillery authenticity. Overall probably wouldn’t buy it again but it’s good for the price point. My buddy enjoyed it.

Sweet cheap and really an undiscovered gem. Corn and alcohol on the nose with a smoother than expected finish with some spice and pleasantly light. One of my favorite daily drinkers. Have it an extra half star for the price point as this is important to us thrifty buyers that can’t spring for $200 bottles of Stagg
