Incredibly smooth and satisfying bourbon. If I could find it, This would be my every day bourbon.

Excellent complexity and sweetness. Lasting spices and caramel notes.

Despite the spicier, less drinkable, finish I’d expect from the price tag, this is a well bodied bourbon with some great spices and enjoyable charred flavors that I appreciate. Good depth. That being said, I don’t know that it’s better than the single barrel product that’s also extremely flavorful.

To compare this Rye to my favorite every-day Rye, Pendleton 1910, the two couldn’t be more different in terms of flavors and sweetness. This Rye is not as sweet as I anticipated, nor as drinkable. It is a decent drink, however, just not as elegant as the 1910.

Really nice, light bourbon. I give it at least 4 stars on drinkability, and right at 3 on sweetness. Aside from that, it lacks some complexity that I’ve grown accustomed to. That said, it’s drinkability makes this something I don’t mind having any night of the week.

Less drinkable, and fewer of the deep tasting notes, than I prefer. Those who appreciate a spicy bourbon without too much sweetness will be drawn to this one. That said, if it’s all I have, I can find appreciation for what it is - rather than what it is not.

Good straight-forward bourbon. Solid and flavorful. However, a little more bite than I’d like and no remarkably pronounced flavors that I favor to pinpoint and highlight here. That being said, high marks for being a solid bourbon - enjoyable.

Very drinkable. The flavor notes are not as elite, but the very smooth drinkability makes it exceptionally enjoyable.

Rich and flavorful. It is not as drinkable as I would like but it certainly makes up for it with it’s depth of charred flavor.

Extremely sweet smell and an equally sweet taste. This whiskey’s greatest feature, however, is it’s smooth drinkability. The vanilla notes shine. No need to mask this one, perfect neat.
