If you like peated whisky, this is for you. The original Octomore release, before they committed to the now annual release schedule, and before they began experimenting with cask treatments. Peat on the nose, no doubt, but much more than that. The flavors in the mouth combine peat with barley and light fruits, with a mouthfeel unexpectedly both viscous and ethereal. The very definition of a unique whisky.
