TINCUP American Whiskey
Other Whiskey — Indiana (bottled in Colorado), USA
Reviewed January 25, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)To me, this was a flavor-neutral whiskey with very subtle notes of vanilla and a little spiciness that was overshadowed by the hot burn of a young, underaged liquor. Not horrible but not worth the price or hype, especially compared to a less expensive alternative like Buffalo Trace. -
Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 21, 2015 (edited June 16, 2015)This was just shared with me by a good friend. Fantastic overall. Not what I was expecting, but good. Nice, dark Amber color. Good legs with a swirl. It had a nose of tart fruits and of a sour liquor with thick Carmel and vanilla. Spicy on the pallet with a smooth, oily finish. Oaky, smoky characteristics set in after second sip. Very smooth; very good. Glad my good friend shared. -
Crown Royal Maple
Flavored Whiskey — Manitoba, Canada
Reviewed January 10, 2015 (edited January 12, 2015)This is, by far, the worst whiskey I have ever had. Far too sweet to be enjoyable and a little too flowery for a bunch of men sitting around a campfire.
