Tastes

This is nice! I like the smokiness of Laphroaig,and I like sherry cask finished Scotch. This is a perfect harmony of the two. The initial nose is smoke, but behind it but not at all hidden is the sherry. Worth a second taste or even a bottle purchase.

Nice typical bourbon. Spicy, with vanilla notes. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. Some kick on the back end.

Some nice spice notes, but not as much of the spice kick one gets from other eyes. Some citrus notes, some minty freshness. Reminds me of peppermint candy a little. Some nice creaminess. Not as woody, with only subtle wood notes. I like it, I’m more of a Scotch person but this is nice.

This is perfectly nice. It’s not especially interesting, but a good drink. I get sweet notes, vanilla and citrus. The nose is clean and fresh.

This is unique. I finally figured out what this reminds me of. It was always Christmas (which is when I got it) but it reminds me of my grandmother’s fruitcake, which she always wrapped in cloth soaked in Grand Marnier. I get the baked goods notes and candied fruit notes.

Very flavorful. Orange notes and the cinnamon toast I used to love growing up. Worth getting again.

This is really nice. Lots of citrus and some floral notes. A hint of smoke. The palate is not super complex, neither is it simple. I got it in the 200ml size with other JW. Might get a full sized bottle.

Unassuming. Not complex, but tasty. Great for when you are tired and don’t want to work to taste all the notes. For me it pairs well with a good book, it doesn’t distract me from what I am reading, but is a nice accent to the experience.

It is very nice. I get orange notes with smoky spices. It reminds me of Christmas tea. Nice taste, just a little alcohol on the finish. Definitely worth getting some for the right price.

I make chocolate toffee bars every Christmas. These remind me if them, but if eaten in a tobacco shop. This is very flavorful, rich and tasty.
