Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed December 15, 2019 (edited September 13, 2020)Not your typical Lagavulin, it’s a bit of a twist on what I’m used to. The Aroma doesn’t have the smoked meat profile and is instead carries a fruitier and sweeter nature; Palate is a tad briny but continues the fruity theme; Finish hits like a smoked dessert. -
Paul John Christmas Edition 2019
Single Malt — Goa , India
Reviewed December 15, 2019 (edited October 31, 2020)Yeah, this is good. The Aroma is rich and fruity with dark sweet malty notes and a touch of spice; Palate carries a heavy dank sweetness with subtle earthy notes, smoke and spice; Finish pulls through all the sweet notes with barely a hint of the smoke or earthy tones.
