J.W. Dant Bourbon Bottled in Bond
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 15, 2022 (edited June 5, 2023)I pick this up for a liter at $22 what a steal this is surprisingly good for the price. Getting sweet corn brown sugar and vanilla, classic bourbon up front can’t go wrong with bourbon for mixing and I like it neat others my not but I’m a simple drinker if it hits all my buttons then it a good solid bourbon and that’s what I like about this one. It gets overlooked and that’s good for me. -
J.T.S. Brown Bottled In Bond
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 9, 2021 (edited September 15, 2023)Lots of corn sweetness with this one brown sugar caramel and oak.a Lotta good things that you’d like in a bourbon I believe with the price point it makes this one off the chart. I’d keep this one under your hat I get mine for $12 a bottle probably the best bargain bourbon 4 year age statement 100 proof BIB out there!!!11.59 USD per Bottle -
Drinking neat out of a rocks glass Big Carmel nose maybe even Carmel corn candy would be more accurate brown sugar note as well. On the pallet astringent sweetness and baking spice and a good oak on the end. My first bottle and I am used to higher proof offerings however I like what this has to offer at this price point. you can drink neat, and as a mixer for old fashions. Money well spent26.0 USD per Bottle

Exactly as described orange and honey and really smooth for 101 proof. I see a lot of harsh post but I don’t experience that maybe I’m a little prone to higher proof expressions but I find this to be an easy drinker with a warming hug, good campfire drinker for me and at $37 an everyday drinker as well Willet did it right in my opinion37.0 USD per Bottle

Not sure if it’s with the price point but thought I would give it a try. I drank this neat in a nosing glass very ethanol forward. Pick #2 cornbread and honey 119.6 proof. Wow be careful with this high proof and 3 yr age statement some sweet corn syrup notes maybe some chocolate notes at the front and hot spicy end definitely a big hug as it goes down try it with some water for more. Better out there for less money39.0 USD per Bottle

I see what everyone says about it being smooth being my first time trying it it was almost syrupy heavy to me sweet notes with some oak and vanilla it didn’t stay long on the pallet I find it to be a pretty good poor I had mine neat I will definitely be buying more of this I currently have the bottled in bond version and I haven’t tried it yet so it will be interesting to compare the two. All in all I’m not disappointed with this poor29.0 USD per Bottle
