The nose smells like it has a much higher ABV. Lots of spice. With all that spice on the nose and the expectation of a strong kick in the mouth, I was surprised at how smooth it was. Almost as if I was smelling one whiskey and tasting a different one. The flavors and mouthfeel frankly make me question what all the hype is about. For what was there, it is not worth $75 a pour. Don't get me wrong. It is still a good whiskey. I am glad I was able to try it. I was just expecting more. I cannot find the justification for charging $75 for a pour of something that frankly doesn't taste better than a $40 bottle of something else.

smooth and strong. oaky with not a lot of burn. While it does taste heavier than many standard bourbons, for a cask strength it doesn't pack that "punch in the mouth" potency and is very smooth

not much on the nose. tastes light. generally smooth. the bourbon flavor comes as more of an after taste. reminds me of a better version of the Minnesota whiskey.

Nose: smells a lot like moonshine. Slight hint of aging. Taste: very smooth. despite the nose of moonshine, it has none of the moonshine burn. There is some overall flavor like an un-aged whiskey, but not a corn moonshine. Multiple sips brings out the malt.
