1800 Añejo Tequila
Tequila Añejo — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed March 30, 2019 (edited February 11, 2020)A good entry level anejo. Quite muted in terms of complexity. On the palate caramel, rich buttery leather with a light oak dry spice finish.73.0 AUD per BottleDan Murphy's Bulleen -
Limeburners Infinity Solera Cask
Single Malt — Australia
Reviewed March 1, 2019 (edited November 16, 2020)Pleasantly surprised with this drop. It has scotch-esque qualities. Very easy to drink / smooth / non chill filtered. Vanilla on the nose and a very satisfying sipping experience. The spirit is understandably quite youthful with some faint background notes of caramel and burnt oranges. A little more maturity and intensity would really push this into becoming Australia’s leading non-single-cask/non-small-batch general release. Cons: Price, too expensive and needs a few more years.138.0 AUD per BottleBWS Templestowe -
Michter's US*1 American Whiskey
Other Whiskey — USA
Reviewed February 23, 2019 (edited April 1, 2019)I’m a scotch drinker and love this as a gateway into American whiskey types. Love this with a dash of cola and medium ice cube, as American as hot dogs. Friendly creamy soda goodness, little to no alcohol burn.120.0 AUD per BottleNicks Wine Merchants
