Bunnahabhain Cruach Mhòna
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 25, 2021 (edited August 26, 2022)Travel edition litre from Edinburgh connetion. Not so smokey on the nose, but tantalizes the tongue. The soft, warm following belies the heavier than normal proof. A wonderful addition to the cabinet. -

Reviewed April 20, 2021 (edited January 16, 2022)It doesn't reach the heights of its older sibling, the 16, but it still has that familial twinkle in the eye that reminds us they are both from the same house growing up. -

Glenfiddich 14 Year Bourbon Barrel Reserve
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed November 17, 2020 (edited November 27, 2020)My first excursion with this bottle. I'm not expert in the finer aspects of nose-palate-finish, but this one has something going well in each phase. Nicely warming on a fall night by the fire. -
