It doesn't reach the heights of its older sibling, the 16, but it still has that familial twinkle in the eye that reminds us they are both from the same house growing up.

My first excursion with this bottle. I'm not expert in the finer aspects of nose-palate-finish, but this one has something going well in each phase. Nicely warming on a fall night by the fire.

Need more tastes to let this one settle into my good graces. Currently pivoting from a steady parade of islay singles. Willing to put in the time, however.

I had to treat us to something a bit more dear then what we've been "hunkering down" with. And its not like this is a bank breaker. The virus cares not if I'm being frugal. At least not this weekend! Cheers, all!

This one has a lot that you'd never get at popular prices. Especially in a single malt. Great evening treat during Love in the Time of Cholera. Stay safe all!
