Extremely smooth. This scotch is well balanced and has very little peat. The body is full and has sweet fruity notes.

Fruity with some baking spice. This whiskey is hot due to the higher proof and definitely needs some cold water to bring out the flavor.

Nose has a light char with a little fruit. The flavor is light, but full on the tongue. Has a finish with some spice and a mellow vanilla flavor. Good mid price bourbon.

Rather average bourbon. Smooth with a little heat. I feel that it is a contradiction to age bourbon in a beer barrel. It work better the other way around. This is ok but not for the money.

Very oaky up front with an oily body. The peat comes through on the exhale. Leave your mouth and throats very dry afterwards.
