Johnnie Walker Blenders' Batch Wine Cask Blend
Blended — Scotland
Reviewed April 14, 2018 (edited September 12, 2019)I would put this at the “green label” level of Johnnie Walker. I am truly enjoying the winding road that is JW and this is a nice addition. When you are looking for the smooth familiarity of Black Label, but want a touch of adventure, this is a perfect choice. -
Why am I beginning to like this??? I am totally puzzled as to why my whisky tastes are morphing into a scotch like this... the complexities, the peat, the smoked smell??? I don’t know but daddy likes it. It drinks slowly and is a perfect cocktail. This is only my beginning in this style, but it is an open door to flavor. Side note, after reading the official “Distiller” review I cant stop smelling”band aid” now!!! Ha!

TINCUP 10 Year American Whiskey
Other Whiskey — Indiana (bottled in Colorado), USA
Reviewed January 19, 2018 (edited November 5, 2019)If you like regular Tincup you will LOVE the 10yr variant. Smooth and tasty, the attached tin shot glass cries for a straight pour taste. I like it on the rocks, but this is so smooth it actually tastes great “neat”. I will definitely buy it again.
