I got the 43% abv version during my holiday in Goa, India. This whisky really surprised me. Nose: When I smell the whisky, it reminds me of a big basket of fruits. I can detect dried fruits, a bit of apple, dark raisins and slight hint of ripe pineapple,. Oh, and there’s a lovely hint of chocolate too! Surprisingly, it’s not spicy on the nose; instead, I notice subtle flavors of plum and vanilla. Adding a spoon of water revealed some floral notes. Palate: When I take a sip, the whisky tastes like papaya and lots of dried fruits., slightly oily. The sweetness is balanced by spiciness—kind of like cloves and cinnamon. And the texture in my mouth feels rich and satisfying. Finish: The best part? The finish! After I swallow, the papaya flavor stays with me, along with a strong spice taste—maybe cloves. It’s a slow, almost leisurely finish that warms me up as it goes down. And that spicy feeling lasts for about a minute . Overall, the Indri Trini whisky has a delightful fruity smell, a complex taste, and a memorable finish. Im on the way to finish the bottle. Ill surely buy the “DRU” the cask strength version.

This is my first Ardbeg. What a beautiful peaty whisky! This whiskey offers a harmonious blend of earthiness, smoke, subtle sweetness and citrus. On the nose, you'll find roasted nuts, ash, a hint of smoke and lots of bandages. The palate reveals earthy notes alongside smoky ash, lemon, dark chocolates, iodine, and a refreshing sea salt spray. The finish, medium to long, leaves a delightful impression with lingering chocolate, ash, and salt notes. - Nose: Roasted nuts, ash, and smoke bandages. - Palate: Earthy, smoky ash, lemon, dark chocolates, iodine, and sea salt spray. - Finish: Medium to long, with chocolate, ash, medicinal with salt notes.

Aged Rum — Venezuela
Reviewed August 22, 2024 (edited September 10, 2024)It’s too early to comment. Just opened the bottle and had a pour. It was decent. But maybe I was expecting more from this. The nose had raisins, slight oak and cinnamon. The more notes started to develop slowly and got aromatic towards the end. The palate had a touch of sweetness with a lot of dried fruits especially dates, raisins and cinnamon spice. It was starting to taste a bit like cola towards the end. I thought I started to like it when I was about to finish my dram. I will try again and update here.45.0 USD per Bottle -
Nose: The aroma opens with a subtle floral note, reminiscent of wildflowers. There's a pronounced nuttiness, particularly walnuts, accompanied by a slight hint of ripe banana. A touch of coffee and a bit of sea salt add complexity, with a whisper of smoke rounding out the experience. Palate: On the palate, you get a touch of sea salt and the unique flavor of salted ripe banana chips. Dark chocolate pudding and mint provide a rich contrast, while a slight heat from pepper adds a bit of spice. The bittersweet licorice ties everything together. The not so favorite part is the mouthfeel. It is quite thin, neither oily nor viscous. Finish: The finish is medium in length, with a flavor reminiscent of chocolate milk and ending with traces of espresso coffee.45.5 USD per Bottle
