On the nose I’m not getting much at all, but that’s probably me and not the whiskey. On the taste I’m getting all the normal rye spice with some green apples and some alcohol burn. There is a vanilla almost cake frosting at the very front of this. the whiskey has some legs and a lengthy finish. If you like rye this one doesn’t steer you wrong.

Sweet, young, thin, rye spice at the end. Much better out there at a lower price point.

The best bourbon in the market hands down.

So dark it looks like an aged rum. Palate is oak, leather and a touch of sweetness. The alcohol is noticeable but not so hot that it’s undrinkable. This is an interesting one....not complex not horrible but it’s lacking something....it just seems to fall apart somewhat on the finish.

Nose is Carmel and oak. Palate is more oak with a touch of sweetness. Hints of Carmel and vanilla. Finish is brief but not horribly short.
