Tastes

Alcohol forward on the palate with some sweet corn in the middle and cinnamon on the back. The younger is a perfect name for this. It’s a bit harsh and could use some more time in the barrel.

Burnt Carmel and hay. Some real sharp tannic notes. Has an weird unpleasant after taste.

Really nice barrel proof. Drinks a little hot but very enjoyable.

4yrs 10 months 52.66% Some funky malt on the nose with heavy brown sugar. Palate is brown sugar that weird funky malt and some char Finish is a bit of heat and then it’s gone. Not a bad cask strength but not excellent either. I would however drink it again.

A pretty simple whiskey with the vanilla and a bit of rye spice. I find it to be a little ‘flat’ for lack of better words.

Herbal and cherry on the palate. The finish falls off a little flat.

Spice up front with a nice sweet finish.
