The peat pops in this cask strength version and the toffee note is pretty special. Beautiful whisky.

Initially rich, sweet, dark fruit and leather at cask strength. So good on the first try but it has a very bad finish. Something is wrong with the cask this was aged in. Yuck. Not a winner at all.

Very nice basket of tropical fruit on the nose, then mango and nectarine on the palate with almost an effervescence on the finish. So impressed with this and when it is bottled special for Canada what's not to like about it?

Yum. Such a smooth experience. Whiskyfun gives this 87 and this app gives it 77. Please revisit.

I don't think this is a fair review. Is there that much lack of flavor profile on this that only two or three characteristics barely scratch the surface and the rest are zero? What is this? Just some smelly water cut down to 53.7% WBV by alcohol? I THINK NOT!!!!! It deserves a more fair shake.

Very decent blended older whiskey. Probably wouldn't have bought a whole bottle but this half size is a great way to put high age statement whiskies out there for curious drammers. Sláinte.

Luscious fruit and rich oak on the nose with an interesting nod to the Campbeltown funk for no particular reason. The peat is prominent but not overwhelming. Palette confirms the nose and provides a huge finish, an effervescence and tremendously satisfying all round experience.
