Tastes

Admittedly I’m new to the rum scene. Usually a whiskey/bourbon/scotch guy. Was looking to try something new. I read a lot of reviews and it seems people either love or hate this rum. I was feeling adventurous and decided to give Kraken a try. First attempt was on the rocks. It was decent. Good flavor, not over-powering, and enjoyed the complexity of the different flavors. Second attempt was on the rocks with some Torani Toasted Marshmallow syrup. Amazing!!! The syrup just seems to bring everything together a little better. I can see this as being a great mixer but maybe not that great as a neat or rocks drink.
