Tastes

Definitely one of the worst bottles I've ever purchased. It tastes like the water used came from what a rest stop terlet smells like. Normally this bottle is $50 around my parts, so I thought $40 was a steal. I could've had two Old Forester 86s which taste great instead. F!

Damn, son! People don't know this exists yet? Shut your traps and tell people that Scotch is good so we can still get this!

Sorry, but I gotta do it... This bourbon is alright, alright, alright. If you're a fan of the Wild Turkeys, this is another good one to enjoy.

Spend the extra two bucks that it would cost to "upgrade" to the 94 proof Elijah Craig Small Batch. This is like a little brother.

Very smooth and a good entry level sipper. However, extremely overpriced.

Very good mixer, that you can drink neat in a pinch. I'll always have a 1.75 available!

This is one of the best $35ish bottles you can find. Not quite as good as WR Double Oaked, but that one has shot up in price so much that if you want a nice oakey finish, this could be the way to go. Definitely worth the upgrade of the regular Makers, and I think it's comparable if not better than the regular MM cask strengths that can go for twice the price.
