Probably one of the most complex bourbons I have ever tasted. An experience worth every drop.

Warm and sweet on the nose. Smooth taste at first gives way to the spice and then settles down with banana finish. Banana? Yeah, I know.

Before I drew it from off the table the vanilla introduced itself to my nose. Smooth, unexpectedly. Caramel texture languishes away while a pale floral note entertains with its fading finish.

Decent, everyday pour. I would like the port to be a bit stronger but it’s subtle presence is not unnoticed. The drop of an ice cube or a splash of water teases out a bit more flavor than expected. The long finish is where I appreciate the port the most, but it is a long wait.

I didn’t expect enjoy this as much as I have. The floral notes and sweetness finish wonderfully long after. The floral gives way to the sweet several moments later in this slow ride.

First dram: A decent spice on the immediate pull and rolls into a sweet oak. Rich with a caramel tone that lingers on. I added an ice cube to satisfy a curiosity. The sweetness is immediately opened up in this brackish liquid. Then a hint of spice dances on the tongue; nearly the reverse effect.

Straight to the nose with you!...with your candy rich odors and smooth initial draw. Little rough on the finish as the alcohol lingers a bit more than necessary. But the sweet flavor perseveres.

Watch out! Very drinkable. Sweet and smooth. Vanilla flavor will linger a bit on the tongue.

Nose a heavy cinnamon. Tastes lightly of citrus, texture is light. Finishing has the flavor of herbs and floral tones.
