Glenmorangie Astar 2017 Edition
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed September 24, 2020 (edited November 28, 2021)First taste was neat. Smooth with vanilla notes. Nice bite on the finish, but it doesn’t linger long. Will try with ice next time. -
Speyburn 10 Year

Reviewed August 31, 2020 (edited December 4, 2020)Nice grocery store find. Good burn with a smooth follow. I also like this one over ice. -
Highland Park Magnus
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed August 31, 2020 (edited September 1, 2020)Bought this one for the bottle. Not crazy about what’s inside. To me, it’s harsh. However, I haven’t tried it with ice or water, so I might be amending this post in the future. -
Glenlivet 12 Year Double Oak
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed August 31, 2020 (edited September 1, 2020)Not my favorite. However, I keep it around because I like to give people options when I’m introducing them to Single Malt. -
Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed August 31, 2020 (edited September 23, 2020)Fruity and fun. Not for serious Single Malt people who can’t appreciate the whimsy.
