In looking at the expert review here...this hits on everything i want in my whiskey! Sweet, bold, and definitely a step up from Heaven’s Door TN Straight

Very impressed with the 3 different bottles i have had with Heaven’s Door. This TN straight bourbon is an everyman’s pour. I could drink this all night and i would find something new i liked about it! And if you have a chance, and like this, try the double barrel...takes it up another amazing notch!

Now, many will think i am crazy, but this pour reminded me of Elmer T Lee! It hit all the same notes on the palette. However, on the nose, that is where Elmer T Lee takes it. Loved this Old Ezra so much, i bought a second bottle!

Cool packaging, but a mild overall whiskey. Was thinking there was going to be a flavor profile that I would remember, but sadly it’s the bottle that is what i remember

Wasn’t overly impressed with Contradiction. Seemed pretty low key. Was expecting more from a blended whiskey to get some balance. Just like the expert review says...sweet. But nothing else comes thru I am interested in Old Scout as a follow up to this

Not a terrible whiskey, and pricepoint was decent. Not overly complex, but hit the sweet notes that i like in a whiskey

Bold flavor for a low proof bourbon!

Big fan of this whiskey! Excellent pour out of the Beam distillery! I get sweet, oaky, followed with a nice light burn. Very enjoyable, and would purchase another bottle of this again! It did remind me a bit of Beam Distiller’s Cut

Floral on the nose, sweet and oaky are first notes, finishes with just a slight burn. Very enjoyable neat!

Not a super bold bourbon, but i like my whiskeys on the sweeter side. Calm a d mellow, and you can definitely taste the black brandy cask finish
