This dram piqued my curiosity given the difference in production style (so young, and 4x distilled) vs expressions like Octomore, Laddie, Port Charlotte... different to say the least, but certainly not a standout of the Bruichladdich range.

An interesting, and notably more complex Jura than any of its younger siblings. The most delicious part of this dram is how the salty notes lift the entire palate -- it's a saltiness in the very best way. Agreed with the surprisingly short finish noted by Mr. Le Daoré.

Tough to give this only four stars. Definitely a 4.5, if not more. A wonderfully delightful and consistent dram -- easily the best of the Glendronach lineup.

Big, big spice on this one -- as rye as rye's come. I'd give a 3.7-3.8 more than a 4-star, but it was a great dram nonethless.

Smooth, citrus zest on the malt makes way for an almost toffee-like note, spiced with cinnamon. The finish is rich and long (not sure about the bitterness mentioned above). Absolutely delicious! Definite recommend.
