Did a side by side with this and the 12 year. Nose is wonderful with chocolate, caramel, vanilla, oak with some underlying cinnamon. Palate has much of the nose coming through. The finish is my only negative, it is short with an antiseptic feel. Dollar for dollar the 12 takes the win but still a very enjoyable bourbon

Vanilla bomb with leather and oak. Adding ice pulls out a nice corn dust medium finish with a good hug.

Nice flavors of dark chocolate. Didn’t get much smoke more sweetness. Good in a mixed drink.

After trying this for the second time I’m ready to say this may be my favorite bourbon of 2022. Flavor is perfectly balanced. I get spices chocolate oak and a slight leather on the end. Finish is medium to long. Nose has baking spices honey bananas and caramel. At the price point I got it at here I believe it to be one of the best values for a 12 year age stated product.

Nose has baking spices vanilla caramel and cinnamon and peanut. Maybe a slight hint of floral. Flavor is much of the same with the addition of some bread and oak. Finish is balanced and smooth. A very nice bottle. A gift from BIL not available in my area. Worth the purchase if you can get a hold of it.
