Tastes

A special batch of blended whisky that has been finished in plum wine casks from the Mars Tsunuki distillery. The color is rich and the palate is round and giving with plush notes of red plums, cherries, cooked persimmons and cinnamon coated dark chocolate. Available in very limited supply. Very intense peat both in nose and in taste, ending with slightly bitter dark chocolate and coffee. If Lagavulin was like sitting next to a bonfire, this is being surrounded by the bonfire.
