Tastes

Solid bourbon. Good kick, no rough edges. Mixes well. Used to drink this all the time - I like the oaky flavor and no chem taste. I keep a few bottles around, especially for guests.

A gift. I normally survive on bourbon- so trying a Tennessee whiskey was a new road. And this bottle, from 2018, was pretty smooth. No chalk, not a lot of burn. More fruity- nice color, nice on the nose. A fine drink.

Easy drinking. Like going out on a date in high school- sweeter, fun, not to be forgotten- but not overwhelming, not foundational. You would not get married, but you would go out again and again.

Very little burn. Soft but not weak. Sweet. Carmel and corn throughout. Easy drinking- let this sit on the tongue for a bit. No chemical taste, not perfumee, not bitter, a touch on the syrupy side. Some oak some leather “smooth” Well behaved - if this bourbon was a little child I would pat him on the head and ‘good boy.’
