Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed October 14, 2019 (edited November 23, 2019)A gift. I normally survive on bourbon- so trying a Tennessee whiskey was a new road. And this bottle, from 2018, was pretty smooth. No chalk, not a lot of burn. More fruity- nice color, nice on the nose. A fine drink. -
Jefferson's Very Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 1, 2019 (edited December 5, 2019)Easy drinking. Like going out on a date in high school- sweeter, fun, not to be forgotten- but not overwhelming, not foundational. You would not get married, but you would go out again and again. -
Very little burn. Soft but not weak. Sweet. Carmel and corn throughout. Easy drinking- let this sit on the tongue for a bit. No chemical taste, not perfumee, not bitter, a touch on the syrupy side. Some oak some leather “smooth” Well behaved - if this bourbon was a little child I would pat him on the head and ‘good boy.’32.0 USD per Bottle
