Tastes

I had a 9 year single barrel. It is easy going down but there is absolutely no flavor. If this was clear I may mistake it for water.

For me this tastes more like a rye whiskey than a bourbon. I was not a fan. I was thinking it would be a young less flavorful Noah's Mill or Rowan's Creek but it was nothing like them. Maybe it's my palet but I regret the purchase.

Mine was a barrel selected by cap n cork. it is worth every penny in my book. I have paid a lot more for a lot worse. I ended up purchasing 3 bottles of this particular barrel. extremely smooth great flavor slight burn on the finish with notes of vanilla/honey. Liquid gold!

Hit or miss for me. Store select variants are 4 star. Random single barrel selections are 2-3 stars. Not worth the $ unless you know the store selected their barrel.
