1792 Full Proof Straight Bourbon

Smell is amazing, strong, hits the back of the nose like a hammer. Taste is strong, maybe wheat and bananas? Tingles in the mouth and all the way down. Smokey and strong, but tolerable. I call it the ass kicker because of the ACV.

Was really looking forward to this but I found myself scratching my head at the result. It’s somehow a digression from their standard label. Unusually this is slightly too hot and fails no complexity from the added proof. Very bizarre.

Incredibly smooth despite the proof. Caramel/brown sugar on the nose, bananas/cinnamon on the sip, short finish. Actually prefer this without a cube.
