Nose: banana and light grain
Palate: banana, vanilla light oak
Finish: warm and banana
This was Yankee Spirits store pick. Full strength a bit high for my palate. Will have to work on how much water to add. The banana from the ethanol is very pronounced. Will see how the bottle changes with time after opening

Nose 1: roasted marshmallow and graham crackers with dried cherries and vanilla. Toasted oak and smokiness comes through as well. Very inviting fruity nose. Like a bowl of fresh fruit!
Taste 1: getting an interesting savory note of buttery carmel on the front of the palate. Followed by some delicious baking spices and cinnamon and nutmeg. Very warm and rich. Velvetty and buttery. Very nice!
Nose 2: chocolate covered cherries and raisins. Dark fruit and those same burnt marshmallows come through again.
Taste 2: fresh dark vanilla bean and some honey roasted peanuts. Damn this is good! Reminds me a lot of the complexity and taste of the elijah craig barrel proof, but more fruit forward. Slightly more. Pungent on the nose but still very friendly for 125 proof.
Overall: I am seriously enjoying this. I only paid 45 for this bottle and I am extremely pleased. It is up there in the category with the elijah craig barrel proof and the wild turkey rare breed that I love!
I also love the small batch of 1792 but this is so much richer and nuttier and buttery. Yum! Pick this stuff up!
