1792 Small Batch Bourbon

incredibly smooth, nose: banana, spices, vanilla, and honey taste: strong spices(classic of rye), caramel, woody, heat maximises then disappears inexplicably, sweet hints appear more with some water

The barrel taste really stands out. Almost like there was flavoring added. Doesn’t have any punch to it though. I doubt I’d buy it again.

Nose: sweet corn, butterscotch, pecans and maple syrup Palate: sweet orange zest, vanilla baking spices, pleasant and balanced Finish: toffee, hints of dark fruits and more vanilla Great standard, on the level of Buffalo Trace & Elijah Craig. This is a high rye bourbon but you wouldn’t assume that in a blind tasting. Very balanced. Barrel selects of this are great.

The nose is a sweet and oaky with a slight warmth to the sinus region. The mouthful has a charred flavor with a semi-sweet aftertaste. It isn't too spicy if you let it go down the right way.
