1792 Small Batch Bourbon

A little different, in a good way. Sweet, not too. Maple and cinnamon, clove for spice. Rich, light oil. A touch of water knocks down the sweetness and smooths out everything. Winner.

Sweet maple with oak and leather on the nose. Corn maple with hint of leather and pepper and cinnamon does not really hit the back of the palate or linger and not oily

For a readily available and affordable bottle, this stuff is a pretty solid pour. Definitely on the sweeter side but the leathery and oaky notes add a nice complexity. I’m excited to try the harder to find versions when (if) I can get my hands on them.
